SOLIDWORKS WORLD 2016 “Let’s take a Selfie” powered by RAPID

Last year at SOLIDWORKS World 2015, many people (they called themselves fan) came over to meet me and requested for selfies. It was exciting to meet some of them (sorry for not able to meet them all).

After seeing so many friends for selfies I posted this

And then Matthew Negron from Dauphin North America replied to have a picture of me.

It was sad that I could not met many of them. But someone was listening to me and now my wish has been granted. Yes that is right, I’m going to have a selfie booth at SOLIDWORKS World 2016 in Dallas, Texas courtesy of RAPID: Quick Turn Prototype Metal Parts where anyone can join over for a selfie with me. I’ll be on their booth from 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM (tentative)

As many of us know that RAPID has been a great supporter of the SOLIDWORKS User group and has won “SWUGN: Partner of the Year” award many times at SOLIDWORKS World.

RAPID is a 325+ employee company focused on quick-turn PROTOTYPE sheet metal & machined parts. RAPID has recently developed a FREE add-in for SOLIDWORKS that allows users to quote sheet metal parts within SOLIDWORKS, instantly. Our add-in also provides design feedback regarding proper sheet metal design for manufacturing. This addresses a very common problem for many mechanical and design engineers with tight deadlines to get quotes & parts instantly. Rapid Machining quotes machined & turned parts within 24 hours. All parts are shipped in days, not weeks. Other services include prototype wire harnesses, cable assemblies and box builds. Visit to get more details about their products and services.

I enjoyed and had a great time at SOLIDWORKS World 2015 and I hope to meet you again at RAPID‘s booth #628 at SOLIDWORKS World 2016 in Dallas, Texas for some awesome selfies
